Intramurals 2010-2011
The Intramurals 2010-2011 for SLU-LHS was scheduled on October 23, 2010. Even though the cheerers did not performed very well in their practices, many props were destroyed because of the typhoon, and many of the cheerers got sick and was not able to attend the practices, They performed very well in the Cheering day itself. The cheerer's respective family and friends watched the very creative presentations of their child, ward and friends. All year levels battle'd out for the honor of their batches. All of their parents supported them not by just clapping and yelling on their sit, but by also giving the needs of their children to perform well in the cheering including: The Intramurals fee, food, money, etc. The fourth years grabbed the "Best in Cheering" award, the third years grabbed the "Most Disciplined" Award, and the second years grabbed the "Best Cheer dancing" award. After all, the Intramurals became a very big success.

Pagpupugay sa mga Guro
We Louisians are thought in a school where we should respect our teachers for they are like our second mothers and fathers. We students of Saint Louis University Laboratory High School are very lucky, the teachers in out school are very kind and loving, they can be mean to us but it is for the good of our future. They are the ones who helped us grow, they helped us in time of need and sometimes we can teat them like our friends, we can joke, and sometimes we make fun of each other. So why don't we show our appreciation to them by letting them be special even though its only one day, lets treat them like our parents and let them know that we care for them. They also deserve a special treatment, even though there's a teacher's day, we should know that if there aren't here, how would our lives be. So lets thank them once adain for helping us grow up.

My personal reaction on the presidents's project "Covenant with Local Government to build more schools"
The newly elect and the current President of the Philippines, President Benigno "Noynoy" C. Aquino III had 10 plans to fix Philippine Basic Education. One of which is the "Covenant with Local Government to build more Schools". This project is important to every city and municipality here in the Philippines because there are only few schools in every area compared to the number of kids who need to study. This project will also make the population of the government and private schools be balanced. If the government will approve this project, then the future youth will be leading the country in the future with ease.
The Life of Ferdean Leroy B. Manzano
August 30, 1995. Somewhere in the Philippines, specifically in Baguio city. There was a woman giving birth to a young and healthy boy named "Ferdean Leroy B. Manzano." that boy was me. My first name (Ferdean) was derived from my father's name, Ferdinand. And my second name (Leroy) was derived from a pencil owned by my father when he studied architecture in SLU. I belong to a very loving and caring family. I have an older sister (Dennise Faye B. Manzano), and a younger brother (Leandro B. Manzano) who is very supportive in my studies. My parents decided to enroll me to a Catholic Institute school named, Saint Louis University, where I attended since I was a kindergarten. The school was found by CICM, a group of missionaries who are originally from Belgium. I am now a high-school student thanks to my very loving and supporting family who patiently raised me.
